This is the start of a new mermaid painting on an 8 x 8 wood panel. I’m keeping the color scheme for this one simple blue, green and black.
This is what she looked like after 2 hours of painting:
She’s only about half done. I have to finish painting her body and fins and then some detail work. I was experimenting with how to portray hair flowing under water. Not to bad for my first attempt. 🙂
Eventually this portrait will have a name … Fathomless, maybe?
