New site, new blog. So, my old web site and all my files were apparently deleted with a system upgrade that no one bothered to tell me about. It was the third time this has happened in the last year, so I waved farewell to my previous hosting service.
Do you think I backed up any of my files? Of course I did! I just can’t seem to locate them at the moment…
I tried to re-register my old domain mstingley.com, but that was an epic fail. So, I went with Margieart.com instead. It kinda you know, made sense since I call my site Margie Art.
Anyway, the moral of this story is, back up your shit people. I mean it. And, remember where the heck you saved all the stuff to. Trust me, it will save you hours of frustration and tears.
